Why Choose the MIAC?

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) is affiliated with NCAA Division III, and thus its 13 members don't offer athletic scholarships. Despite that, MIAC teams consistently compete at high levels. Students who choose a MIAC school understand that athletics can still play a role in their education without dominating their educational experience. MIAC schools offer the chance to continue excelling at the sport(s) they love, but in a balanced environment, where education comes first.

MIAC schools have excellent career placement services and help graduates go on to fulfilling careers with many of the world's top companies. In addition, students excel in hundreds of career fields including education, law, medicine and public service. Within one year of their graduation, 93% of all Minnesota private college grads are either employed or in graduate schools.
