No. 19-ranked St. Thomas Women's Soccer has been awarded hosting duties for the opening weekend, Nov. 15-16, of the NCAA Divisison III tournament.
St. Thomas (15-2-3) will open against Monmouth (14-4-2) in Saturday's 11 a.m. match.
Tickets each day are $6 for adults; $3 for students and Seniors; $2 for students age 3-12.
That winner plays Sunday at 1 p.m. against the winner of Saturday's 1:30 p.m. contest between Illinois Wesleyan (14-5) and UW-Whitewater (14-5-3).
St. Thomas made the NCAA playoff field for the fourth consecutive season and 13th time in program history. The Tommies shared the conference championship with Augsburg, then advanced past Augsburg with 6-5 shootout win in Saturday's playoff finals.
The Toms are unbeaten in their last 13 matches (10-0-3), and under Coach Sheila McGill they have 75 wins in the last five seasons, with four regular-season and two playoff conference crowns. They have allowed just nine goals in 20 games, with 12 shutouts. They are also unbeaten in eight overtime games this season (5-0-3).
